Walter Speller (Jancis Robison) :2016 – a turning point for Barbaresco
Excellent article by Walter Speller, Columnist of JANCIS ROBINSON, important online English Magazine, which talks about Barbaresco's 2016 vintage, as "a turning point".
Among the various bottles tasted, the 2016 Barbaresco DOCG Quarantadue42 also appeared, which ranked 17/20 with the following organoleptic descriptions:
Concentrated ruby. Compact, firm cherry with a hint of Moroccan leather. Ripe and potentially generous fruit with plenty of integrated acidity and coating tannins. Very long and focused.
